We, the members of the Leesburg Presbyterian Church, believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of humankind. We believe that He has called us to ministry, in His name, through His Spirit. We believe that He gives, to the church and its members, gifts to fulfill their call to ministry.
We specifically believe that God has called our particular church, as part of the family of God through Scriptures, to the following emphases of ministry:

PREACHING: Proclaiming through
Worship, the Word of God, in concrete
And contemporary ways.
TEACHING: Providing educational
Experiences where participants may
Grow in the grace and knowledge of
the Lord.
REACHING: Encouraging others to
Surrender to Jesus Christ, while
Promoting service in God’s name.
With the guidance and the power of God’s Holy Spirit, we strive to be faithful disciples individually and together. We promise God and one another to be involved in worship, education, outreach, and fellowship through the giving of our time, talents, and offerings.
Presbyterian Church U.S.A.

Life and Mission Statement
The Presbyterian Church U.S.A. is distinctly a confessional church, distinguished by the representation of elders – laymen and laywomen – in its government. The church today has a membership of 2,405,311 throughout every state in the nation.
Our witness corporately and individually, is rooted in the gospel ministries of preaching, teaching, healing, and in Christ’s example of advocacy for the poor, the hungry, the oppressed.
As Christians, we know ourselves to be claimed by God’s grace and called to be His disciples.
